Hi …. We haven’t been to the beach for quite some time to enjoy the beautiful panorama. While at the beach, we often come across small crustaceans that crawl like crabs in a molusc shells. It is called the hermit crab. Crustaceans are mostly aquatic and live in saltwater from coral reefs and coastal areas to as deep as the sea floor. The habit of this crustacean that likes to occupy empty scavenged mollusc shells and stay quietly in it gives its name the “hermit crab”.
